Tiger Roast Beef Sandwich
Submitted by: Tulkoff
Try this sandwich and you’ll have to agree: Tiger Sauce and roast beef are made for each other.
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 cup onion, thinly sliced
3 Tbsp Tulkoff Tiger Horseradish Sauce
1 1/2 Tbsp coarse ground mustard
4 kaiser rolls, lightly toasted
1 tomato, thinly sliced
2 cups arugula, lightly packed
1 1/2 lb deli roast beef, sliced thin
Heat the oil in a large sauté pan over medium-high heat. Add the onions and cook, stirring occasionally until the onions are caramelized and golden, about 15 minutes. While the onions are cooking, combine the Tiger Sauce and the mustard in a small bowl and set aside.
To begin assembling the sandwiches, first arrange the kaiser rolls so the inside of the tops and bottoms are all facing up. Divide the arugula evenly between all the top and bottom rolls. Add two slices of tomato to the top of each roll and set aside.
On the bottom of the rolls, layer the roast beef slices on top of the arugula, about 6 slices per roll. Then add the horseradish-mustard mixture on top of the roast beef. When the onions are finished cooking, add them on top of the sandwich and serve while the onions are still warm.
