Spicy Deep Fried Scallops

A little sweet and a little spicy, that’s just what you’ll get when you try our Spicy Deep Fried Scallops!
1 Tbsp Lemon juice
1 Tbsp Capers, drained
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 lb Sea scallops
Vegetable oil, for deep frying
1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper
Starting with the dipping sauce, combine Tartar Sauce, lemon juice, capers, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well and set aside.
Wash scallops in cold water and drain on paper towel.
In a large deep pot, heat vegetable oil until it registers 330 degrees.
In a small shallow dish, beat the eggs. In a different shallow dish add breadcrumbs, salt and cayenne pepper.
Roll scallops in crumbs, then dip in egg. Roll in crumbs again.
Deep fry for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and center of scallops are white. Drain on paper towel.
Serve alongside Tartar Sauce mixture.
