A perfectly crafted marinara sauce featuring our chopped garlic in oil.
2 tsp olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 tsp Tulkoff Chopped Garlic in Oil
1 can (14.5 oz) peeled and diced tomatoes
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
1 tsp brown sugar
½ tsp dried oregano
salt and black pepper, to taste
Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium high heat. Add onion and garlic and sauté 2 to 4 minutes until onion is translucent, stirring frequently. Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, sugar, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer 15 and 20 minutes or until flavors are well blended, stirring occasionally.
